Amy Thrift

Piano & Trombone

Amy Thrift comes from a family of musicians in Lapel, Indiana.


She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from the University of Indianapolis.


Amy started taking piano lessons at the age of 10 and moved to trombone and other brass instruments as her musical skills matured. She has taught elementary and middle school music and band classes for the past 6 years.


She has held faculty positions at First Baptist Academy of Jacksonville and currently teaches music at Fernandina Beach Christian Academy. She also has experience directing larger groups as the former conductor of the Nassau Community Band and Allegiance Choir.


Amy and husband Terry provide worship music for the Amelia Plantation Chapel. They are the adventurous parents of Levi, Mark and Maggie.
