Molly Trujillo

Ms. Molly joined AMS in 2022 to teach violin and piano lessons. She has over 12 years of intensive study in violin & piano and is earning her Bachelors degree in communication at Ensign College.

Growing-up Ms. Molly's favorite teacher was her mom. Ms. Molly remembers her mom sacrificing a lot of time driving her to violin lessons, teaching her piano, and getting her to practice (even when she didn’t want to). Ms. Molly's own teaching experience includes six years in her hometown of Buhl, Idaho.

Ms. Molly performed with the Magic Valley Youth Orchestra and Advanced Chamber Ensemble for 7 years; 5 of which she was the concert mistress. She was also selected to perform in the Idaho All-State Orchestra (4 years) and NAfME All-Northwest Orchestra. She consistently earned superior ratings as a violin soloist in Solo and Concerto divisions of the Twin Falls Music Festival and the IMEA District Solo and Ensemble competition. In 2019, she placed first in her district and moved on to perform in the IMEA State Solo Competition.

Ms. Molly also serves as a performing missionary where she can sing, dance, act, and fiddle to her heart's content!

Ms. Molly's advice for young musicians:

“Don’t just learn to play music. Learn to love it! Music has the potential to bring so much joy into your life if you just let it!”
