MUSIC THERAPY

Welcome to Music Therapy with Karen Howell, MA, LPMT, MT-BC

The only credentialed Music Therapy practice in Nassau County, Florida.

What is Music Therapy?

Can you remember a time when you were frustrated, sad, apathetic or having a tough time? If a certain song helped you through it, then you know how powerfully comforting - and effective - music can be.

Music Therapy harnesses that idea in a scientific and strategic way. Music Therapists earn degrees and undergo extensive residencies just like psychotherapists and physical therapists. They learn evidence-based ways to help people through the emotional, behavioral and physical struggles that can affect us all.
