WHAT HAPPENS IN A MUSIC THERAPY SESSION?

We all have favorite songs that help us feel different ways.          Do you have a song that helps you: 

  • instantly call up memories of high school?

  • relax before bed?

  • motivate yourself to work out?

  • grieve a time in your life?

Music Therapy uses that concept strategically to help with the emotional, behavioral and physical struggles that happen to us all. 

During your 50-minute session, you and Ms Karen might:

  • listen to music

  • play music

  • move to music

  • use music to create comfort, change and self-expression in the midst of life’s challenges.
