Syannne Potts



Multi-talented professional musician Syanne Potts excels at individualizing and personalizing each lesson to each student's innate talents. She started teaching Violin at Amelia Music Studio in 2021. 

Syanne graduated from Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. In both 2015 and 2016, she earned the position of Concertmaster in the Repertory Orchestra. She also received the Outstanding Musician Award in 2015 and Exemplary Musician Award in 2016. 

In May 2020, Syanne graduated from Valdosta State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music. She made the Dean's List three years in a row and served as Treasurer of the Sigma Alpha Iota Music Fraternity (Zeta Theta Chapter). Her music education included diverse music literature and the historical development of music in all world cultures. 

Syanne has taught strings at the South Georgia String Project, Danny's Music of Valdosta Georgia, Daytona Beach Music Academy and Music & Arts of Jacksonville, FL. We are delighted to have her at AMS!
