MORE THAN LESSONS
Musicianship skills are enhanced with an approach that fosters individual growth in cognitive and emotional development. In addition to individual lessons, you will have so many chances to play with others- in small ensembles, camps, concerts, musical theatre, the ideas grow with you!
"There are certain moments in the last two weeks where my heart burst for the love and care around my family.
When you shared how you handled Joseph's piano lesson last week was definitely one of those moments!
Thank you for your care of Joseph. I'm so grateful for your expertise as well :) We've saved his song in his memory folder and he's talked about it as special. Thank you!!"
Catherine & John Drew
Before opening AMS, Carrie Anderson Mays built a successful career in psychotherapy. She created a school where music is not only a joy, but also a coping skill, an inclusive communication tool and a healthy way to express lifeʼs complex emotions at every age. Your student will develop interpersonal relationships, social skills and JOY in addition to technical fundamentals like music theory and performance.
AMS Students Enjoy:
Performing opportunities across the community
Consistent, supportive environment for all age and ability levels
Autonomy, choice, creativity and leadership
Success in All-State, Honor Bands and Solo & Ensemble
